Listed below are clubs that have existed since BASE first opened as a school and some that will continue to exist at BASE once again when clubs and activities begin in October. Competitive Gaming Club

The Competitive Gaming Club has three primary purposes:

To allow you to practice and hone your skills in hopes of increasing them to competitive and tournament standards
To allow you to recreationally engage with video games
To socialize

Community Service Clubs

Now with our partner BuildOn, the Community Service Club unites dedicated young people that have a desire to help others and the drive to take a stand and make a change in their community. In the past, we have worked with outside organizations to raise money, food and awareness for those in need.

There are also other community service opportunities centered around the Kingsbridge Armory. Students explore why they should be putting forth a vision where community members share in the profits that are made in the armory, that the activities inside the armory help develop young people to run the armory or other areas of the economy, etc. not just as passive workers or participants in what ultimately gets decided in the armory. Magic: The Gathering

Come join the Magic: The Gathering club where you can engage, socialize, and encourage others in the club to play a trading card game because you want to play with others who you share something in common with. In the game, players take turns battling as wizards, or "Planeswalkers", using cards from their decks to cast spells, summon creatures, and use artifacts. When the game time isn't happening the club is having discussions on the mechanics of trading card games and how to prep and plan for the next Magic tournament.
